Who we are

BoxToBox Compass is provided by Box To Box Analytics LLC, 2055 Limestone Rd Ste 200 C, Wilmington, DE, USA (“we”). The app is a tool for football clubs. Accounts are created by the club; there is no public sign-up. For the scouting content in the app, your club decides what is collected and why, and we process it on the club’s behalf.

What we collect

• Account details: your email address, and the name, role and club your club sets up for you.
• Content you create: reports, notes, tasks, shortlists and conversations with the Assistant.
• Voice recordings: when you dictate, your audio is sent for transcription.
• Photos, videos and files you attach to reports, or photograph to build a shortlist.
• An account identifier sent with each request, so the app shows only what you are allowed to see.

We do not collect your location or contacts, we do not track you across other apps or websites, we show no advertising, and we do not sell your data.

Device permissions

• Microphone: only while you dictate.
• Camera and photo library: only when you choose to attach or photograph something.
• Calendar: if you turn on calendar sync, the app adds your tasks to your phone’s calendar. Your calendar is never sent to us.

How we use it

Only to provide the app’s features to you and your club: showing and saving reports, transcribing dictation, planning, and answering your questions in the Assistant.

Service providers

We use trusted providers to run the service, under contracts that limit their use of your data to providing it to us:

• Auth0 (Okta): sign-in
• AssemblyAI: speech-to-text for dictation
• AI model providers such as OpenAI: reports’ AI features and the Assistant
• Amazon Web Services: hosting and file storage
• Expo: delivering app updates

Retention and deletion

We keep your data while your club uses BoxToBox. To have your account or data deleted, ask your club’s administrator or write to us at the address below.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to see, correct, export or delete your personal data. Contact us to use them.
